What Do We Do?
This is probably the biggest question I am asked. So let me try and explain it as simply as possible:
The AccessToCapital web site is designed as an information and education site for anyone considering raising capital for their business or business idea. It doesn’t matter what stage you are at, capital is the life blood of a sustainable business and a lack of capital is singularly the biggest reason for business failure. This site will be a long term work in progress that will be a resource centre to help people learn about the basics and fundamentals of capital raising. It’s a free site. Use it and learn as much as you can about raising capital. If you are going to go to the market then you need to be well educated.
How can you benefit from our Services?
My colleagues and I are experienced facilitators in the Capital Raising Industry. We work with Business Owners to do the following:
1. Identify and explore the opportunity to raise capital for their business or business idea.
2. To do this as a Project Manager or Facilitator to the Business Owner/Manager.
3. Provide a legal framework for the business owner to access a pathway based on the systems we have developed. Create a pathway that in the assessment of the client and ourselves presents the best chance of a successful outcome.
4. We continue to grow a database of potential investors who are seeking high quality business opportunties. The right offers will be presented to these groups when and where appropriate.
What we don’t do?
1. We are not investors, nor are we business angels or venture capitalists.
2. We do not take on any and all potential clients. The capital being sought has to be from $250,000 to $5,000,000.
3. We never ever make any guarantee of what sort of outcome is likely.
4. We never ever make any guarantee that any of our investors from our network will participate in any capital raising. To do so is folly!
Why do business owners do business with us?
1. Because we are professionals. You get the benefit of specialist services, advice, systems and know-how.
2. Because the majority of our costs are based on a successful outcome; if we are not collectively successful working together towards an agreed outcome then you will not suffer financially as a result.
3. Because a business has a much better chance of successful outcomes when they hire the best people for the job. We will never guarantee a successful outcome but rest assured your chances of failure are already stacked against you. If you do not engage some professional assistance from someone, somewhere then you will continue to dilute your chances of success.
